Why we keep grower data
CityTribe Nursery stores only what is needed to run customer accounts, fulfil seed orders, deter abuse, and answer support tickets. We do not sell or rent customer lists to advertisers.
Data we may hold
- Account: name, email, hashed password, verification status.
- Fulfilment: delivery address, phone, basket lines, payment mode, order identifiers.
- Support: messages and files sent through Contact us, Help topics, or Track order forms.
- Security: session tokens, approximate IP, and browser signals used to catch fraud.
How the data is used
- Sign buyers in and block abusive account registrations.
- Pick, pack, and release parcels to logistics partners from 81, .
- Send transactional notices about dispatch and delivery.
- Satisfy Indian bookkeeping and statutory retention tied to GSTIN our registration.
Retention window
Commercial order records remain for the statutory retention period that applies in India. If optional marketing consent is collected later, you may withdraw it by writing to support@citytribenursery.in.
Access and correction
Signed-in buyers may ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of personal data, except where law requires us to keep the record. Send the request from the email on the account to support@citytribenursery.in.
Security posture
Passwords use one-way hashing. When cards or UPI are processed, full payment credentials stay with certified gateways and are never stored on our application servers.
